2月3日は節分でした。今年は土曜日！
東大寺二月堂と興福寺に行ってきたのですが、
すっごい人出でした。
奈良の観光資源、馬力ありますね♡
ちょっと話はそれるんですが、
よく大きな行事で人混みにまぎれたら
「〇年前は、全然人おらんかったのに、
なんや最近は混んでて、メンドクサイわぁ」
って愚痴ってはる人をよく見かけます。
ちっさ！！！人間小さすぎ。
キモチ分からない事もないですが、
① あんたが作った行事ではない
② 遠路はるばる奈良まで来てくれた人もいるのに失礼
③ その知ったかぶり、誰の得にもなっていない
以上の理由から却下します。
取り乱しました。スミマセン。
今年は、下記のイベントに参加してまいりました。
12:00～ 興福寺の恵方巻（興福巻）\800 入手のため並ぶ（約１０分）
東金堂の前の広場に特設売店（左側で興福巻販売中）
中金堂落慶記念の数量限定発売ということで、
「自分まで順番回ってくるかしら」とドキドキ。
まぁ、それも含めて、ご縁です。
無事ゲット！晩御飯の丸かぶりが楽しみ♡
おまけに「天燈鬼」さんのポストカードが！
もはやアイドルな国宝ですね♬
13:00～ いったん家に興福巻を置きに帰って、東大寺二月堂へ行って
豆まき用の場所を確保
14:00～ 豆まきスタート！
まずは、二月堂のお堂から法要と豆まき
そして、降りてこられて、特設ステージから豆まき
舞台から「鬼は外、福は内」！
降りて来られて、私たちにも福を♬
福豆と、金の鈴を授かりました♡ カワイイ音色です！
この時、ゲストと一緒に参加していたのですが、
なんと！バックパックを前にかけていたら、そこにアンパンが飛んできたそうです。
なんちゅう引き！！すごいね！！
って言ってたら、「本当は鈴が欲しかった、、、」っておっしゃったので、
「良かったら、私のあげるよ」「いや、それはミキのでしょ」「私は来年も来られるもん」
などと押し問答していると、近くにいた女性の先輩が「はい！これあげる！奈良を楽しんでね」
ってくれはったんです。
えぇ～～～～！！ 神オバ、、、いや、神先輩！！ あ、仏？！
これで、ゲストも大ハッピー！！
ものすごい福をいただきました。
ありがとうございました。
こういう先輩のおもてなしが、奈良ファンを増やしてくれはるんですよね。
本当に大感謝です！！ 私も、どこかで恩送りします！
そのあと、ものすご～～～く鹿と遊んでから、
（鹿の人気は、本当にすごい。助かる。）
興福寺の追儺式に（18:30開始）
ただ、この追儺式、16:30から整理券が配られていたのです。
「豆がまかれる枠」に入るための整理券！
知らずにだらだらしていた我々は、「枠の外から見るだけの人」に。
来年こそは、しっかり枠内を確保したいと思います。
（もしくは、13:00から販売される福引付き福豆を購入するか）
18:30～ 法要のあと、追儺式
これ、ものすごい過酷な寒さの中なのですが、人混みに入って
若干温かみあります。
そして、鬼追いの寸劇が、すごく面白いんです。
まず、司会のようなオジサンが舞台で
「さ！みなさんも、ご一緒に！鬼さぁ～～～ん！」って
鬼を呼ぶと、鬼が登場。（赤鬼、青鬼、黒鬼の三匹）
ところで、鬼って匹で数えるんですね、、、
そして、司会のおじさんが、鬼に酒を与えます。
すると、酔っぱらった鬼が暴れだします。
すかさず、司会のおじさんが、「はい！鬼さん！」って
松明を渡します。
そしたら、鬼は松明をもって暴れまわります。
そうなったら、不動明王様がお出ましになって、
鬼たちをやっつけます。
なんとなく、ハメられた感が強くて、
若干、鬼たちが気の毒でしたが、、、(笑)
やっつけた後は、大黒様がお出ましになって、
打ち出の小槌を振って、福を授けてくださいます。
そして、「枠の中の人」に豆まき！
という感じでした。
そして、夜が更けていく、、、 ナイス節分でした！！

完全に今年ベースのタイムスケジュールですが、
なんとなくこんな感じが良さそうです。
そして、、、帰って、興福巻を丸かぶり。
中が古代米を使っているのか、すっごいピンク！
インパクトのある見た目でした。
具は、大ぶりの高野豆腐、たくあん、赤かぶ、ほうれん草。
東鮨謹製の精進の巻寿司。
縁起物ですからね。
味については割愛しておきます。
それから、、、
日頃から、すっごくすっごくお世話になっているお姉さまから
立春朝搾りの清酒をプレゼントしてもらいました♡
乗れる縁起には全て乗る！勢いとガッツで、
今年も無病息災で楽しく過ごせますように♬
Every February 3rd is called “Setsubun” in Japan, and we have special events at temples.
Here’s how I have spent with my guests on Setsubun.
Let me explain about Setsubun first.
Setsubun originally meant “the day one season turned to another” and there were four setsubun in a year.
The day which we call Setsubun today is the one when winter turns to spring. It is the day before “risshun”, the day spring begins according to the calendar.
In the old days, people thought devils came out from hell at the changing of seasons to bring us disasters and disease. Mame-maki (bean throwing) is a custom to get the devils out of the house and bring in good luck.
After opening all the windows and doors, they throw beans out of the house saying “Oni wa soto!! (devils out!)” and into the house saying “Fuku wa uchi!! (good luck in!)”.
When they are finished, all the family members eat the same number of beans as their age, and pray for a healthy and peaceful new year.
And Nowadays, the custom of eating a large sushi roll facing “e-ho” (the lucky direction of the year on Setsubun) is also very popular. E-ho means the direction which the “Toshigami-sama” (god is in that year) is in.
Facing the lucky direction and eating an big whole sushi roll while silently making a wish is called e-ho-maki.
So, Setsubun is about to throwing beans to devils and eating a sushi roll 🙂
Then, I went to buy “e-ho-maki” at Kohfukuji, which is limited one for this year, since this year is a ceremonial year for its Chu-Kondo (Center golden hall) would be finished in October.
After I bought Kohfukuji’s “e-ho-maki”, I went to Todaiji Nigatsu-do hall for “mame-maki”.
From 14:00, a ceremony is held, and monks and other selected people comes to the stage and throw us mame and other good luck charms. I got a cute little golden bell, which sounds so nice.
After “mame-maki” at Nigatsu-do hall, we visited Kasugataisha shrine, and played with deer.
We visited Kohfukuji again for “Tsuina-e” (same mame-maki ceremony with a short drama of devils vs wisdom king), which was very interesting!
First of all, MC comes on stage and briefs the story which would be held, and he calls devils to come on the stage. Devils meekly comes to the stage, and MC gives devils “sake” (japanese rice wine).
As devils become tipsy, MC gives devils the torch and devils rage about with the torch.
Then, MC calls wisdom king to come out, and wisdom king beats up devils completely.
After that, lucky god comes out on stage, and give us blessings with his good luck mallet.
I know devils bring us disasters and they are bad,,,
but,,, I felt a bit sorry for them, since I thought MC was the worst one, lol.
Anyhow, it was a super good story of justice, and was really fun to see!
After Kohfukuji, I went home and eat e-ho-maki with making a big wish 🙂
